Surroundings
These are the places where we live, work, play, and move about on a daily basis. But how much do we experience the environments which we pass through so quickly in this life, or which change fast enough that we don't even remember what they once were?
In a way, these images are a document, a recording of those surroundings for closer inspection at a later time — separated from the moment of their creation. Yet they are also a view of that time going by, society passing through its surroundings often paying little heed.
